I am idea about purchasing a Dual brand car stereo form wal mart. I haven't ever really herd of the dual Stereos. If anyone could tell me if they are a nobility brand please do. Thank you.

You might longing to try it and let the rest of us know...I have heard both good and bad about Dual just what I read on the internet..like the first guy I think Pionner would be a safer bet, a few years ago Pionner was considered to be 3rd lieu equipment, much like dual is now.....but just in the last few years I don't know what happened but they have come out with some outstanding junk with very high quality finishes...and are now considered one of the better brands...

No, not exceedingly. Its a low end brand, not good quality. People come here often and ask "why is my dual thingy not working". They go under much more often than reputable brands.

Save up for a reputable unit. Get a cheap pioneer from wal mart even... you might expend more replacing the cheap dual when it breaks. In car audio, generally, you get what you pay for.
