I drained my car battery because my alternator was prevalent out. I did not know my alternator was bad, and i was running off my battery totally. Can I charge it or get a "jump" to get it up and running again or do I extremity a new one?

You will stress a new alternator. Your battery may be salvagable, depends on how many times that bad alternator drained it. Have it tested at Autozone or Sears.
