Can I use a deep cycle battery to replace the starting battery in my truck?

The battery in my junk is dead. I have a deep cycle battery that is used for an electric trolling motor on my boat. Is it ok to use the deep cycle battery in my truck if it fits? Will the alternator accuse it the same as a regular battery?

It will industry fine. And if you leave your lights on for a while, you won't kill it like a regular battery.

It will have less cranking power on cold days however.

it will industry but cranking amps will not be as strong best to just buy a new battery deep cycle is for low draw over long time it might work some days but if honest cold dont think it will do the job
