What is the best affordable outdoor security camera?

Someone seems to contemplate it is funny to throw beer bottles and garbage on our lawn. We are trying to catch them in the act. We think we cognizant of who it is, but we want to get a security camera to try to protect our property. Does anyone know who makes the best, affordable security cameras?

Get a CCTV camera with infrared dusk vision and CCD sensor - do not get a camera with a CMOS sensor, they are no good in the dark.

Get a camera with a high resolution (480) and and digital DVR than can chronicle that resolution

Do NOT go for with greatest satisfaction. These normally rely on automatic lenses, which can be difficult to adjust even for professionals. Depends on the country, but very penetrating deals can be made at Henry's Radio, London. Internet search for them as henrys radio. If your problem is daytime a believable quality colour camera will do, but give an idea to the supplier of the distance from the camera to the place you monitor or you will not get the right lens. Get a camera with its' own instinctive iris. For night use a low light mono camera is better, but you might need to use infrared lighting, or else a motion detected supportable to see well. There are colour cameras which will switch to mono at night, but they do not handle very low light conditions.
