Are their any good wireless security cameras that can be set up to work through a standard router?
I've been prearranged the task of finding a good Wireless Security-style webcam that can be sent through a standard wireless router without requiring a server computer at all. Does anyone separate of any that can do this?
I'm not really sure what the plans are for these cameras, just that they have to be able to work decently with only a wireless router.
Any IP camera will do, but without a server there is no way to record a right quality picture, and generally continuous recording is impossible and would slow the connection drastically. The question is, most wireless cameras will only talk to a camera receiver, not wifi, and all the receivers are only good to connect to a standard rf port, not network.
