how to use aux input on kenwood car stereo?

I've recently bought a car and it came with a kenwood kdcw213a stereo in it but not with any instructions on how to use it. i found the cd sportsman in argos and noticed that it has an aux input but i have no idea how to use it! i have plugged my mp3 into the aux input but don't know how to turn it on from there. i've tried pushing all the buttons, the inception button just turns the radio off and makes my aerial go down so if anyone knows how to do this i would be very grateful.

Try Holding down the fountain-head button for a couple of seconds.
