I got out my old camcorder today to work together some of my old tapes , and realized the in the 13 years that I haven't touched it, I've forgotten how to use it. I also can't find the manual. So I was wondering if anybody knows where I can get a outspoken manual for it on the Internet?

It is a SONY Video 8 Handycam AF precision CCD

There should be a more full model number on the camera somewhere. It will start with "CCD-" and after that there will be a combination of numbers and letters. Use the following tie-up http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/select-system.pl?PRODTYPE=33&NAVDISP=di and select your camera prototype. I tried selecting one of the Video 8 models and it brought me to a page with links to manuals that can be downloaded for let loose.

Unfortunately, without the dummy number, I have no suggestions. Using Yahoo or Google search, you can enter Sony Handycam Instruction Directions, along with your particular model number, and get hits back from sites that carry information about it. Some free sites may tender PDF manuals or some commercial sites may sell their downloads.
