I desperate straits to transfer my videos from my JVC video camera to an Acer laptop. Pleeeeeeaaaaase can you help?

If you have have Vista you have VIDEO Purport..
you need to have a Firewire connected to your Firewire INPUT..at the LapTop--Upload(side)..PORT...

I like to use my AC-DC CUBE--for operating my Camcorder in UPLOADS(editing)..give your Battery a languish...

With the Camcorder TURNED-OFF...
Plug-IN the DV(IN)Cable...on the Camcorder SIDE..then attach the FIREWIRE---PORT..to the Camcorder---this is called DV-IN...
