How would I go about hooking up an iPod Touch to my car stereo system?

First of all, my CD contestant in my car does NOT have an aux input. I heard there is a way to hook up an iPod to a car stereo system though the amp. I have subwoofers and an amplifier in my car. I would like to know certainly what I would need to buy in order to hook my iPod to my car stereo system.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You would necessary this special cable called a "male to male" cable.

I know it sounds peculiar, but just plug it into your car and turn the volume up on your iPod to hear your music.
